Just as Jesus Christ came “not to be ministered unto, but minister’, we accept our responsibility to reach out in service to others. This applies both within the church family and outside our fellowship.

Bill J. Bartlett, Pastor
Pastor Bartlett is the founding Pastor of Maranatha Baptist Church having planted the ministry in June of 1969 and seeing it officially organized in July of 1970.

T. Kevan Bartlett, Associate Pastor
Pastor Kevan has been on staff at Maranatha since March of 1984. He directs the music ministry, the Christian education ministries, oversees the church office and the DayCare Ministry.

Zane Shives, Assistant Pastor
Pastor Zane joined the staff in 1978. In addition to overseeing a large printing ministry, he directs the bus ministry, and coordinates the upkeep of the facilities.

What Every Person Needs to Know
Everyone has sinned.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ~Romans 3:10
The penalty for sin is death.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. ~Romans 6:23
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: ~Romans 5:12
Jesus Christ paid for your sin.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. ~Romans 5:8
Accept HIM to receive eternal life.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. ~Romans 10:9
